Adenanthera pavonina, also known as the Red Sandalwood or Red Bead Tree, is a tropical and subtropical tree native to Southeast Asia and parts of the Indian subcontinent.The seeds have been historically used for making jewelry, ornaments, and rosaries. In some traditional medicine practices, parts of the tree, such as the bark and leaves, are believed to have medicinal properties and have been used for various purposes.
